National Maternal Health Awareness Day: Preventing Gestational Diabetes in Expectant Mothers

Learn the importance of prenatal care, strategies to prevent gestational diabetes, signs & symptoms, causes, diagnosis, treatments and preparation for a smooth delivery. Afterwards, attendees will tour of Labor & Delivery and the Mother/Baby area. Resources such as support groups and classes will be provided. A light dinner will be served.
