In 2010, Healthier Somerset was founded as a coalition convened by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset created to improve the health and well-being of all who live and work in Somerset County.

Healthier Somerset is committed to working collaboratively by sharing information, creating alliances and increasing efforts for the health and wellness of Somerset County. Our coalition engages those who live and work in Somerset County to actively participate in good health habits, increasing access to choices that promote healthy lifestyles, and promoting policy changes that improve health.
